Dear HHU-SymPore-Team,
Just a friendly (but firm!) reminder to submit your monthly timesheets if you haven’t done so already — including any from previous months that might have slipped through the cracks. This isn’t just internal housekeeping — it’s mandatory under EU regulations, so it’s non-negotiable. I know it’s not the most glamorous part of our jobs, but it’s essential.
If timesheets aren’t submitted, unfortunately, I’ll have to escalate and inform your supervisor as we need them for the next financial report to the ERC. Time sheets must be signed at the end of each month by both the employee and the supervisor. During an audit, times of sick leave and vacation may be cross-checked with HR, and these must match the hours recorded in the timesheet. Please fill in national holidays, sick leave, vacation days and your working hours. Once you’ve filled it out and gotten it signed by both you and your PI, you can leave the printout on my desk.
So please take a moment to double-check and submit your hours. Let’s keep things compliant and smooth for everyone.
Let me know if you run into any issues or need a hand, Ill be happy to help (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
Have a sunny weekend ☀
Best wishes,
Alena
