Dr Heidi Waldorf

Heidi A Waldorf, MD is a nationally and internationally respected expert and sought after lecturer in the field of Dermatology and Cosmetic Medicine, including skin rejuvenation, soft tissue augmentation, cosmetic use of botulinum toxin, noninvasive fat reduction, laser and other energy based device technology and cosmeceuticals.

Dr. Waldorf serves as an investigator, speaker, consultant, advisory board member and trainer for major industry producers of drugs, devices and cosmeceuticals, allowing her to participate in the development of treatment protocols and to offer her patients the latest therapies.

Dr. Waldorf has been published extensively in professional journals and books, serves as Co-Chief Editor of Modern Aesthetics and of Dermatology Focus and is on the editorial board of Aesthetic Surgery Journal and of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
She regularly speaks at major aesthetic surgery meetings in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, as well as the United States. She has served as Director of various symposiums on aesthetic dermatology and dermatologic surgery, including the "Aging Gracefully" Symposium and the Soft Tissue Augmentation Course at the annual American Academy of Dermatology meetings.
In 2016, Dr. Waldorf was named Honorary President of Aesthetic Dermatology for the 14th Annual Aesthetic & Anti-aging World Congress in Monaco. Her research includes clinical investigations involving the use of lasers and other energy based devices, botulinum toxins, filling agents, lipolytic agents and cosmeceuticals for rejuvenation.

The term "PREJUVENATION" was coined by Harvard Dermatologist, Kenneth Arndt, MD in a JAMA Dermatology commentary in 2013, to describe the effect of early intervention on the aging process.

I’m excited to chair "Prejuvenation - Aesthetics in young patients" at AMWC Monaco this year.

The program includes an international perspective on best practices to treat the current younger generation of patients, millennials, including injectables, energy-based devices and surgery and perhaps as importantly, how to convince them to treat preventively rather than wait to rejuvenate. We hope this session will expand participants view of aesthetic practice as taking care of our patients for a lifetime, not just as fixes for years of neglect.
